Join us for an evening of deadly sins. Indulgence is one of life’s simple pleasures, come along and enjoy interesting conversation with sinful single friends. This is a charity event and no additional repentance required.
The 7 deadly sins – Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Wrath, Envy, Sloth & Pride
Like the our popular Tao of Pooh Event, we will select name badges that highlight which sin we are most guilty of. This is completely optional, and just a fun ice breaker.
The Host:
There will be a small comical talk presented by Kelly Bayliffe (aka Siduri Goddess), nominated as the UK’s Dating Expert of the Year. The Goddess of Siduri is pro wine, pro love, pro sex, pro marriage & pro joy. Know for her interegity and life changing views on how to spread happiness, she will enchant you with her wisdom and warm hugs. Or at the very least, make you smile 🙂
Who attends: This format of event has been a huge success! It’s a bit quirky and always attracts warm and friendly people mostly aged between 30-50, but all that ‘feel’ this age are welcomed. This event is not a singles event. It is a place where single people gather to meet friends. Women talk to women, and men talk to men. It’s all about meeting new people to expand your horizons and if you happen to click with someone, bonus!
Venue: Retro and trendy open space with seating if required. We always get a lot of compliments on this venue. The Gable is one of our faviourte bars for socials. It’s 100% private to our guest. Plenty of booth areas for more intimate chatting and a large area near the bar to mix and mingle. We control the noise level of the music so that there is a buzz, but you can still enjoy conversation.

Networking TIPS:
If you are nervous about walking in on your own, please don’t be. After you check in and receive an optional free hug, just smile and look for the nearest smile and say hello. At this event you can walk up to anyone and introduce yourself and you will be greeting with openness.
I’ve created a ice breaker game to help you start conversations with new people, we encourage women to chat to women, and men to men, so please don’t feel like this is a high pressured singles event. It’s just friends, meeting friends.
Never feel bad about excusing yourself by being honest and saying, ‘It was nice to meet you, I’d like to do some mingling. Hope to see you a bit later on.’ Shake hands and smile.
If you are coming alone don’t worry. Most people attend on their own, and it’s a very friendly group. Please chat with people standing at the bar, whilst waiting for your drink. This is one of the best places to meet people 🙂
