Join us on a spectacular journey of sound and taste hosted by award winning, Tastour. At this rare and exclusive experience we will pair 8 premium fine wines with the tones of classical South American guitar played by the internationally acclaimed Adrian Azuelo.
This is our second event in the series. The previous Spanish recital blew the group away, and now it's your turn to be enchanted.
The group will be guided into tranquil mediation to contemplate how the complexities of the wines are brought to life with live music. Let go and allow the low notes to take you deeper… be mindful! Feel the plucking of high notes enhance a wines crispness and vibrancy and notice subtle nuances, gastronomically and musically, as you travel through the various regions of South America.
How it works? Each wine will be paired with a song. The wine will be introduced by an award winning wine expert, Kelly Bayliffe, then the guests will sip an savour the wine whilst listening to and enchanting guitar recital performed by a renowned soloist, Adrian Azuelo. Food will be served during and after the event and there will be an opportunity to socialise too.
About the wine? Each wine retails for £15-30 and be from Countries such as Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and several other emerging wine regions. We have searched high and low to bring you a unique experience that will leave your senses tingling and satisfied.
Tickets are strictly limited to 18 people for this intimate gathering.
We will be have a meet and greet from 6pm and the tasting and recital will began at 7pm.
Location is 2 minutes from Monument tube, in the cellar bar of the Walrus and Carpenter.
About the recital: The classical guitarist Adrian Azuelo has captivated audiences worldwide with his passionate performances of the colourful and romantic music of Spain and Latin America and has performed live as a guest soloist on national television. He is a postgraduate and associate of the Royal College of Music, having studying guitar with leading musicians, including John Williams.
